Signature Style, started by owner Jackie O’Fee fourteen years ago, has evolved into New Zealand’s foremost Personal Image & Style consultancy. When she started the business, Personal Stylists were the domain of celebrities and the wealthy. Jackie believed that everyday kiwi men and women wanted to look and feel amazing too, but many didn't have either the time or know the tricks to do it - and she's been proven right!
Over the past several years, Personal Stylists and Image Consultants have really come into their own, mostly due to TV shows such as Trinny and Susannah’s "What not to wear", Gok Wan’s "How to look good naked" and both the local and UK versions of "Ten Years Younger", all of which have taught men and women that how you look can have a profound impact on your life.
Our training and experience at Signature Style means we provide a strong, professional presence in a market crowded with 'I read the book, watched the TV show and my friends say I can take them shopping' players.
One of the best things about working with Signature Style is that we are here to help you - our favourite moment is when we see a client looking at themselves in the mirror and they say "Wow, I didn’t know I could look that good". It just gives us goose-bumps.
Jackie and her team take a friendly, down to earth approach to all things fashion & style and work "from the heart" which has earned them enormous respect within the industry and a client base full of raving fans. Jackie says "You know you've got it right when clients give you a hug at the end of their time with you!"
All Signature Style personal stylists are young enough to know fashion, old enough to be knowledgeable, down-to-earth enough to be genuinely helpful and friendly enough to keep it fun.
As well as working with our personal style clients Signature Style gets to do some really cool stuff. We were chosen by Air New Zealand to dress each of their staff members into their Trelise Cooper designed wardrobe. Each of the 5200 uniform staff spent time with one of the team where we helped put together the best options for them - a massive undertaking of over six months duration, but the results truly speak for themselves! We also worked with Kiwbank on a their new Juliet Hogan designed wardrobe.
We provide the grooming and dressing component for the Governments' Youth Development Programme run through the Defence Force at Whenuapai, teaching the young attendees the value of their personal presentation and what to wear to a job interview. We also teach the young women on the course some make-up skills.
We worked with Gok Wan on his recent tour to New Zealand, doing all the 'behind the scenes' leg-work, while Jackie joined the mega-stylist himself on stage at his shows. We've styled some well-known Kiwis for photo shoots and television, plus we love styling for fashion editorials and TV advertising.
We also partner with Westfield to provide their "Style Lounge" service to customers in their Albany, 277 and St Lukes mall in Auckland, Westfield Chartwell in Hamilton and Westfield Riccarton in Christcurch.
